Lab Details

The ECE Department primarily focuses on the development of hands on skill of the students along with the theoretical knowledge. The Department has the following state of the art laboratories to provide practical experience to the students.

● Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab

The electronics lab provides the foundation of electronics. This lab imparts the knowledge about various electronic devices, circuits and their intended use in various applications. It is equipped with devices and circuits related to Active Components basic analysis, designing and testing of Amplifier and Oscillators. Various devices such as signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies of various ranges, Multi-meters, volt meters, ammeters, Decade capacitance, inductance and resistance boxes, trainer kits and measuring instruments are present in this lab.

● Electronic Workshop & Instrumentation Lab

This lab provides the practical knowledge to manage and test instruments. It is equipped with various tools and instruments for testing, manufacturing and measurement purposes. Students explore the functionality of various tools used for manufacturing and testing like soldering iron, PCBs, pliers, strippers, screw drives, crimpers, cutter etc. Various testing equipment’s like CRO, LCR meter, analog and digital multimeter, IC tester are also available in this lab.

● Electrical Machines Lab

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical related to the study of various electrical machines including motors, generators etc. Lab setups for DC Series / shunt Motors, Synchronous, Universal, single phase & three phase motors, induction motors, generators, various AC and DC Electrical Machines and Transformers etc. are available with appropriate measuring equipment.

● Communication Lab

The communications lab serves to give the students a laboratory experience in analog and digital communications systems. The lab consists of modern equipment just as digital storage oscilloscopes, logic analyze, Micro wave Test bench, Analog and Digital Communication Trainer boards to impart the students with practical knowledge as prescribed in the syllabus. The lab is well equipped with all required Microwave Engineering equipments Like Klystron Power Supplies, Microwave Trainer Kits, Directional Couplers etc.

● Computer Lab

This lab features computer workstations systems equipped with Windows, academic software packages and MS Office. This lab also provides internet facility.

● Digital Electronics & Micro Processor lab

This lab is equipped with various types of microprocessor, micro controller trainer kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of microprocessors.

● TV Engg. & Audio Video Lab

The lab consists of training kits to acquaint the student with the working of television, VCR, tape recorder, Public address system.
