Student Recreational Cell

Apart from Studies we believe in overall development of our students, which is looked after by this cell under the able guidance of SRC committee. The primary objective of the committee is to effectively provide opportunities to students to nourish their extra-curricular skills. The committee looks forward to helping the students experience a campus life full of fun and creativity through various cultural and activities. The committee is headed by Principal of the Institute. The various members of committee are:

• President SRC
• Secretary SRC
• Joint Secretary SRC (Student Representative)
• CR and SR of all the classes

Being a part of recreational or social activities organized by the committee serves as a stress-buster and students must certainly not miss the opportunities to have some fun and to relax during campus life at GPC Jalandhar. The activities and events also try to build the bond between the students via group participation where students from different cultural background come together and experience team-work, exchange of knowledge, etc. which allows them to have a broad spectrum of exposure. The committeemaintains the tradition of welcoming Fresher’s by organizing Welcome party. The students of this college are achieving top positions not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities and sports with active involvement of respective team in charges. This college bagged various positions in State level inter polytechnic Youth Festival and sports.
